24 May 2022 - 27 May 2022
The Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS) Europe 2022 Conference & Exhibition will be held May 24 – 27 at the Royal Dublin Society in Dublin, Ireland.
SLAS is a global, non-profit professional community made up of scientists from academia, government and industry who are collectively focused on leveraging the power of technology to achieve scientific objectives.
The conference will deliver unmatched value for professionals and students looking to discover the latest life sciences technologies and how they can be applied to drive research objectives. The conference will be articulated in three educational tracks: Emerging Biology, Emerging Technology and Perspectives on the European Life Sciences Ecosystem.
Our CDD, Javier Terriente, has been invited to speak as a panelist within the Special Content Sessions of the Emerging Technologies track.
He will contribute to the “Session Explainable AI for Biological Interpretation” with the talk “ZeBYTE – A new platform integrating AI and zebrafish data”.
This session will illustrate the use of AI as a tool for the discovery and interpretation of novel biological phenomena, including new chemical entities, molecular pathways and mechanisms, and disease phenotypes. Examples will include the application of various analytical techniques — from multimodal analyses and knowledge graphs to deep learning and computer vision for image analyses — that can uncover and explain hidden patterns in biological data.
If you are attending SLAS Europe 2022, don’t miss the opportunity to meet Javier on Thursday, May 26 at 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM (GMT+1).
