ZeClinics will participate in the 21st International Congress of the European Society of Toxicology In Vitro (ESTIV 2022), held in Barcelona-Sitges, Spain, from 21st to 25th November 2022.

The European Society of Toxicology In Vitro (ESTIV) organizes a congress every 2 years to promote the development of in vitro and in silico approaches. The ESTIV2022 congress aims to create a meeting space for students and toxicologists from European companies, governments, and universities involved in the development and use of in vitro and in silico approaches.

ZeClinics will present the following poster in the session "Implementation of NAMs into regulatory frameworks – establishing scientific confidence, development of standards and good practices":

We are happy to introduce an innovative automated high-throughput screening platform for teratogenic compounds. The platform has been challenged with 31 known compounds classified as teratogens and non-teratogens in mammals and by assessing 16 phenotypical parameters related to embryo development.

Leveraging artificial intelligence, we used this experimentally validated data to develop a deep learning algorithm to discriminate all the defined phenotypic parameters, sort larvae as positive or negative for qualitative phenotypes, and extract values from quantitative ones.
